Exporting transactions for your taxes
Download every payment, purchase and sale as a CSV file for your own records or for your tax preparer.
Depending on where you live, buying, selling or spending bitcoin can matter for your taxes. We don’t give tax advice, but we make sure you have every number you need.
Open Settings and tap Export. Choose a time span, for example a calendar year, and the balances you want, wallet, card balance or both. Remiga creates a CSV file that opens in any spreadsheet program.
Each row is one transaction. It contains the date and time, the type, such as payment, purchase, sale or transfer, the amount in BTC, the dollar value at that moment, the rate we used, the fee, and the name of the shop or the person where we know it.
Every account can export its full history, free of charge. If an export looks incomplete, write to support@remiga.app and we will send you the missing records.
Keep the file together with your other records. Your tax preparer can tell you which transactions count and how to report them. If a value in the export looks wrong, open the transaction in Activity and tap Get help.
